Dear Parents and Carers,
I am delighted to welcome you to our school website and Pegasus Primary School. It is my privilege to lead Pegasus Primary as the Principal. There is something very special about Pegasus and we are incredibly proud of our unique children, supportive parents and carers, our talented colleagues and dedicated governors along with all at Summit Learning Trust. Here at Pegasus, we want everyone to feel part of our ‘Pegasus Family’ and the partnership between home and school is very important to us.
Pegasus Primary School is a 1 form entry school in Castle Vale, Birmingham. As part of Summit Learning Trust, we are embedding our Trust Values to ensure the learners at Pegasus are at the heart of all we do.

Pegasus Primary is a caring and friendly school and every learner is as important as the next. To put it simply, every learner matters. We believe that learners should be curious about their learning. Through our engaging curriculum, we ensure that learners foster a love of learning that will help to develop high aspirations and foster a lifetime of memories. We believe in ensuring all learners receive a well-rounded education; where individual talents can be spotted and nurtured to ensure that all learners experience success and reach their full potential. Our aim is for our learners to be confident, caring, resilient, inquisitive young adults with a desire to learn and achieve the best they can, in all they do.

Something to think about…. Legend says that when Pegasus’ hooves struck the earth, his marks caused the freshwater springs to turn into flowing fountains of inspiration. On his death, Zeus made Pegasus into a constellation of stars, shining brightly in the night sky for all to see. Pegasus has become an inspiration for children who dream of their own Pegasus to reach the mysterious caves and labyrinths of their imagination.
